TDF Kicks Off Autism Friendly Performance Season

TDF announced 2024 - 2025 dates for its Autism Friendly performance season.

TDF launched its new season of autism friendly performances on August 18, with a special matinee of Hadestown.

Autism friendly or relaxed performances make shows accessible and enjoyable for everyone.  During these performances, slight adjustments to the production are made, including a reduction of any jarring sounds and strobe and spotlights. There are also designated break areas for audience members that might need to leave their seat during the performance.

Since 2011, TDF has presented 22 autism friendly performances on Broadway. This season’s schedule includes the following shows: The Lion King, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Back to the Future, MJ: The Musical, & Juliet, and Hamilton.
